Terms & conditions

Due to the worldwide threat of the coronavirus and the current travel restrictions to St Maarten and St Eustatius, we can not guarantee that we can accommodate guests as usual. Please contact us per e-mail before booking or if you have a reservation and wish to cancel or rebook to a future date.    

General policy:

• The front desk of Orange Bay Hotel is located inside restaurant Harbour Club Statia next door (open daily from 7AM to 3PM and from 6 to 10PM). 
• Please contact us in advance if you expect to check between 3 and 6PM. 
• Check-out time is 10 AM.
• Early check-in or late check-outs are only possible on availability (at possible surcharge). Please make your request known in advance. 
• A valid credit card is required to guarantee your booking (no charge).
• Payment is required upon arrival: we accept cash and credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club).
• Rates are subject to availability and are based on room types and single or double occupancy.
• Rates are subject to change without notice but once your reservation is confirmed the rate will not change.
• No pets allowed.
• Children under 16 are not allowed to stay in a room alone. 
• All rooms are non-smoking. 
• Breakfast is served in restaurant Harbour Club Statia.
• Breakfast is included for the morning following the night spent at the hotel and cannot be substituted or exchanged.

Cancellation policy*:

• Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to arrival date. 
• Bookings of max. 3 rooms: cancellations made within 3 days prior to arrival date incur a penalty equal to 1 night stay in the reserved roomtype. 
• Bookings min. 4 rooms: cancellations made within 3 days prior to arrival date or no shows incur a penalty equal to the full length of stay in the reserved roomtype. 
• No refund is given if a guest chooses to reduce the length of the stay after check-in. 
• In the event of an Act of God and other force majeure, we can choose to waive the cancellation fees.
